Glass fiber powder is a finely ground material made from crushed or milled glass fibers. The main feature is that it does not change color at high temperatures, and is especially suitable for products that require extremely high whiteness. As a filling material, it can significantly improve the hardness, compressive strength, crack resistance, wear width, abrasion, production cost of products, and improve the stability of resin binders.

It is not the same as plain glass powder (made from crushed window/bottle glass) or silica flour. Fiber glass powder specifically comes from reinforcing glass fibers.It exists as a very fine, free-flowing, white or off-white powder. The particle size can vary depending on the milling process and intended application (often ranging from microns to a few millimeters)

Used as a component in some specialized filter aids
Sometimes incorporated into bonded abrasives
Raw materials used in FRP products such as automotive parts (bumpers, battery boxes) and chemical storage tanks
Used in printed circuit boards to reduce thermal expansion of substrates and improve dimensional stability
Used in integrated circuit (IC) packaging to improve the mechanical strength of the package, reduce thermal stress cracking, and prevent temperature cycle failure
Used in electronic component manufacturing, magnetic component packaging and sensor protection layer
Used for various bathroom reinforced resin products, various kitchenware plastic products
